The 2009 SWAC football season ended with Prairie View A&M University winning the championship game over East champion Alabama A&M on December 12, 2009. Although Texas Southern didn't win the conference or go to Alabama for the title game, the Tigers ended the season on a high note, winning against Southern in the final home game.…
